ABOUT MARC

Meet Marc Romé Isaacs

Marc Romé Isaacs is a Seawinds resident, entrepreneur and skilled tradesman with over 30 years of hands-on experience building businesses and solving practical problems in his community.

In 1994, Marc founded Blue Route Locksmith, serving residential, commercial and retail customers across Cape Town. He later developed the KeyMart retail concept inside Builders Warehouse stores nationally. This work was recognised with the Western Cape Minister of Economic Development and Tourism’s RED Door Top 100 Companies Award.

Marc has continued to build community-rooted businesses, including Skootly, an app-driven local transport service, and Cape Central Hair & Beauty. He has also participated in community safety initiatives through Project Headway and stakeholder engagement with the Muizenberg Community Police Forum.

His campaign is based on practical solutions, direct community participation and accountability—not empty political promises.

“I am not asking Ward 45 residents to trust another political slogan. I am asking them to judge me by the work I am prepared to do.”

WHY I AM STANDING

Why I am standing for Ward 45

Ward 45 needs representation that listens to residents and answers directly to the community — not to a party head office. Independent representation means the mandate comes from this ward and the report-back comes to this ward.

  • Better basic service delivery
  • Housing-list transparency
  • Safer communities
  • Employment opportunities
  • Youth and skills development
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Support for vulnerable families
  • Community upliftment
  • Transparent ward representation
  • Accountability

Ward 45 must come first.
